I prefer to be a DIT
— simple but efficient
My Motivation
Since I started providing DIT-on-Set services, I've made it my mission not only to be a technical advisor on set for the DoP, but also to be effective and practical in my work on set by keeping things simple, such as using the best technology available today so as not to be a hindrance on set, but never compromising Quality Check and the integrity of the image.
My experience working on numerous films, series, and commercials for a wide range of national and international vendors has given me the expertise to be a valuable asset to production teams. I can also act as a liaison with other key roles on set, such as post-production supervisors, VFX supervisors, and virtual production supervisors, to name a few.
From the first steps
My knowledge encompasses the initial setup of cinematic cameras from brands like RED, ARRI, SONY, BLACKMAGIC, CANON, NIKON, and DJI, including selecting codecs to meet project needs, recommending the appropriate storage system for backups, and possessing a thorough understanding of video, data, and audio signal workflows and routing on a film set.
